First off, a lot of states do not regulate the word \”Therapist.\” In other words, anyone who calls themselves a Therapist does not have to be a certified psychologist, they, instead, can just pretend. Because of this, the uninformed citizen can unknowingly be diagnosed or have their children diagnosed by an untrained \”quack\” so to speak. Since these Therapists are not regulated and are not required to obtain proper credentials they often scam their clients by diagnosing them with disorders such as ADD that no longer exist.
These fake diagnoses can lead to poor medication use. Afterwards the therapist can charge untold amounts of money on behavioral therapies that the child does not even need. Simultaneously, even if the Therapist knows that ADD does not exist and instead diagnoses only ADHD they can still cause major problems. The therapist might over diagnose children for their advantage leading to another medication rush like in the eighties and nineties.
Therapists also have the bad habit of diagnosing children less than five years of age. According to the DSM, ADHD cannot be diagnosed until the age of approximately seven years. Any diagnosis before then should be taken with a grain of salt. On top of that a child has to present true symptoms of the disorder for over six months in more places than just at home such as school, at home, with parents, with grandparents, and any other place/person the child happens to be. It is very hard to actually be diagnosed with ADHD today.

Cancer survivors shall be entitled to be gainfully employed based on their education, knowledge and expertise without any unfairness to their diagnosis of a cancer.
