One of the things that I wished someone had done for me when I got married was give me advice on how to save money on the honeymoon. Everyone always has advice for you about the wedding and which vendors to use or what not to do in order to save money, but no one ever really tells you anything about what they did to save money on their honeymoon. The cool thing is that there are really a lot of ways to do it if you know what to look for. Take my advice and also ask around and see what your friends did or wish they hadn´t done. The best ways to find advice is by asking those around you.
Typically by the time you have planned your whole wedding, the last thing you want to do is spend a whole lot of time researching and preparing for your honeymoon. The funny thing is, that your honeymoon should really be one of the most important parts of the wedding process because it´s when you finally get to relax and just enjoy the company of your new spouse. My husband and I hired a travel agent and took advantage of a cheap all inclusive vacations. Although you may be thinking that you do not have the money to hire a travel agent, you would be very surprised to hear that it didn´t cost us a penny more to hire her to help us. Most travel agents get such great deals on vacations that they can pass on the discounts to you and even compete with discount travel websites such as Expedia or CheapTickets. Travel Agents also have quite a bit of experience travelling to the places you will be looking at for your honeymoon and can give you the inside scoop and help cater your vacation to your specific needs and desires.
If you were looking at all inclusive cheap vacations as an option, then I personally believe you have made the right choice. My spouse and I loved our all inclusive vacation. We went to a resort in the Caribbean, but another slightly cheaper all inclusive option would be taking a cruise. Either way, by taking an all inclusive honeymoon, you eliminate the need to worry about money or how much all of your activities or food and drink charges are going to add up to. After all the money you spent on your wedding, the last thing you should have to think about is money. Take the burden off yourself and pay for everything up front and then you won´t have to worry about it while you are there.
Taking cruises I hear can be another great all inclusive way to have a great honeymoon. Although we did not take a cruise for our honeymoon, we have many friends who did and greatly enjoyed it. You will typically not have to worry about additional charges for food and drinks and you will be able to visit multiple locations and ports and have many different areas to explore. You will probably have to pay extra for any excursions that you choose to take while you are there, but you will typically be given the opportunity to look these over before you leave and decide which ones you will take part in and which ones you can pass on and then you can work the extra money it will cost into your overall budget. No matter what you decide to do for your honeymoon, it will greatly benefit you to take a little time to ask around and do some research to find destinations that will be enjoyable without costing a lot of extra money. Save yourself the time and headache before you go so that you can simply sit back and relax and unwind after the wedding when you get there. It would greatly benefit you to look for a reputable travel agent as well, but if you want additional advice right away, visit http://www.topcheapvacations.com/CheapTickets/tabid/62/Default.aspx .
