Golfers are always trying to improve, to lower that handicap. Driving is the one thing that gets many golfers into trouble, that elusive little golf ball goes left, right or anywhere you don’t want it to go. Golfers are too concerned with how much a putt breaks instead of the speed. The average PGA Tour professional makes only 55% of their 6 footers and 90% of their 3 footers. Golfers are a finicky lot, so you don’t want to buy just anything. You want it to be useful.

Strength, flexibility and endurance are the three major components of fitness, out of which flexibility is critical for golf. You can practice yoga to attain flexibility. Strength training helps improve your golf game by strengthening your core muscles contributing to your swing so that you are able to hit the correct positions.

Exercises for golfers don´t have to be hard. In fact, they can be quite enjoyable when you know the end result is longer drives and lower scores . Exercise alone cannot prevent or cure heart disease. It is only one factor in a total program of risk reduction; examples of other factors are high blood pressure, cigarette smoking and high cholesterol level.

Muscle repair is really important after golf weight training so consume the right specific foods to maximise results. Important to note aswel is to keep hydrated so fluid intake is a must. Muscles of the body when under stress from physical activity eventually will become fatigued. Once the lower back muscles are fatigued, supporting the stressors of the golf swing and executing the mechanics of the golf swing are compromised.

Practice hitting some shots with your feet close together. This forces you to maintain better balance, tempo, and rhythm. Practice on the hardest tees, and the hardest putts. Put yourself in the traps, and practice getting out of them. Practice hitting some shots with your feet close together (about six inches apart). This forces you to maintain better balance, tempo, and rhythm and will prove effective when you go back to hitting from your normal stance.

Improve your short game and you are guaranteed to lower your scores. Yes, it is that simple. Improving your physical fitness could help you to improve your consistency, concentration, balance and the strength of your swing.

Golf fitness no longer translates into what you can press or squat in a gym. Rather, it requires flexibility, strength, balance and endurance. Golf fitness stretch training is also a great help in reducing he risks of injury which are rather high in golf for golfers who do not exercise. Without good fitness, all the technique training in the world isn?t going to make you an excellent golfer. Golf Fitness Handicap is a series of body movement tests that tell a story about how your body works in golf swing. It also shows how you might be at risk for an injury from golf.

Golf fitness is playing a larger and larger role in everyone´s game. With the development of new technology, many fitness professionals can now develop golf-specific training programs for their clients that will improve their performance on the links. Golf fitness and golf exercises can help increase the distance of the tee shots. An integral component of the tee shots, especially those concerned with the speed controller is the clubhead.

Tiger Woods has clearly taken the game of golf to a new level with the emphasis on the apparent ability. Before Tiger, only a handful of PGA Tour players lifted weights with the aim of increasing significantly, and none of these players were the winners of the majors. Tiger Woods has clearly taken the game of golf to a whole new level with his obvious focus on fitness.

If you’re even remotely interested in improving your game, then you owe it to yourself to at least try the The Ultimate Golf Fitness Guide. I don’t think you would have read this far if you weren’t seriously interested in playing your best golf.

Golf, as a game is often considered to be reserved for the rich. While this opinion may have shifted base in recent times, golf and professional players of the sport are still associated with large monetary prizes, instant fame and other similar tempting invitations. As this is an important reason for many youngsters to start taking part in this calm game of logistics and nerves, the same draws inventors and their ideas to be practically implemented in golf. Many golf inventors try to come up with inventions to be practically executed in the golf course itself while some are more concerned with inventing novel accessories for professional golfers.

While a number of inventions such as the golf cart (golf buggy) and various putting devices have been enormously successful, some of the other inventions, even though useful have gone unnoticed. Therefore, though the game has a lot to offer for golf inventors, they have to be extra cautious to avoid failure. In order to do this, we have decided to provide a checklist of some common mistakes often made by golf inventors while trying to give practical impetus to that ‘great idea’.

Expecting Fireworks From Day One
Often inventors, especially amateurs who have stepped into the arena of golf inventions for the first time, get too excited about their product. It is necessary for the individual golf inventor to comprehend that while each idea has potential, it is only the initiation of success. A lot of homework and practical diligence is required – from marshaling all available resources to full-scale marketing campaigns, from patenting the product to maintaining the hold in the market against dummy products are some of the challenges that stand between the inventor and financial success. Always remember that making a million dollars is not your true ambition. Instead developing a product that is useful and acceptable to the consumers is the idea. Once you perfect this, the money will follow suit, and this our friends takes time and patience.

No Market Research
To invest time, money, energy and resources into inventing a product that is already available in the market is a bigger heartbreak than realizing that your idea has already been taken or invented before. Therefore, to avoid this, do your market research carefully. Visit golf courses, talk to experts and experienced professional players and consult and survey the golf equipment and accessories industry. This will give you a fair idea on whether your purported invention will look like a dummy of some other product in the golf arena, or even worse, be deemed as a bad buy by the people directly or indirectly involved with the sport. Also make sure that you do not trod over a patent or invent a product that conflict with the rules of the game.

Investing All Your Financial Assets for a Patent or Prototypes
Patents, even though being necessary, are over-rated today. While they do provide you protection against infringement, a patent should never be something you set your focus on right after you have successfully invented a product or accessory. Instead use the money (a patent generally costs between $5k-$10k) to map the receptiveness of the invention, marketing campaigns, and tweaking or fine-tuning your final prototype. If the product is successful, then you can use the proceeds of sales to patent you product. Or if you license your golf product, the licensor will pay for the protection needed.

Relying on Unreliable Companies to Make Your Invention a Success
This is probably the worst of the lot. Most invention promotion companies can do no better than you would have had, except in the case when backed by experienced firms like Fairways International and others that have track records and the expertise to make things happen. Most invention promotion companies lack the initiative and the zeal to make your invention a worldwide success, and a lot of potentially wonderful ideas die young in their hands. Therefore, always go for the reputed companies that are specific to the golf industry, and not jack-of-all-trades, to ensure success.

Unplanned Timing and Promotion
Many golf inventors think that anytime is the right time for marketing their invention. Wrong! If an inventor can come up with the goodies just before the start of a major tournament such as the PGA Championship or the US Open, it has better chances of making it into the limelight. Promoting one’s inventions in such tournaments can also be a big bonus to the inventors. Moreover, as one should understand, golf inventions still have a small niche of takers. Hence get professional help, advice or hire resources and reach out. It is not only the idea that matters, but how you market your idea is what ’sells’ it!

Now that you are aware of just a few of the possible glitches you can come across on your path to glory, resurrect your failed invention with these tips in mind. After all, there are plenty of areas where the potential of development is vast, and an invention benefits both the inventor and the professional facet of golf globally.

Many golf products are invented by either genius engineering or a simple concept and process.

Anyone interested in becoming a better golfer, or anyone who knows a golfer, should pay special attention to golf GPS devices. Not only can these devices help improve your game, but they are fun to use too. Far from just identifying the distance to the pin, a golf gps unit can show detailed maps of the course, including bunker and hazard placements. Best of all, you won’t have to fuss with a yardage book, all the details and course information is contained in an easy to use hand held device.

Golf GPS units come in a variety of models, shapes, and sizes. Some devices are simple, whereas others are complex and provide detailed feedback. Golf GPS devices vary in prices, but are usually less expensive than drivers are. Remove the guesswork out of golfing by using GPS to do the work for you. The primary goal of a golf GPS unit is to display the distance from the front, middle, and back of the green. Advanced systems can provide information as to risks, layups, and doglegs.

No frills GPS units offer a variety of features for a minimal price. These devices offer less of a risk because their replacement value is lower, and often use a black and white screen, score tracking, and multilingual capacity. No frills GPS devices will provide the distances to the three major points, without providing additional information. Advanced Golf GPS devices employ a high resolution color LCD with sophisticated score tracking technology. The machines often keep track of your shots and can provide detailed measurements. Some models offer personalized content, course mappings, as well as pre and post game analysis.

Most golf GPS devices will come with some course mappings already pre-loaded. Some have as many as 7,000 already uploaded. While features are a good thing, accuracy is something that should not be overlooked. There are some devices on the market that use outdated chip sets and are thus not as accurate as they could be. Those devices that contain SiRFstar II or III since these are the most reliable and accurate.

If you can’t afford a real golf GPS device, don’t worry. There are several smart phones on the market that same GPS chipset that the golf GPS devices use. If you have a Blackberry or Windows Mobile device, you can download an application that will provide some fun features like distance to the pin and some limitd course mapping. The iPhone also has a few apps that mimic the golf GPS devices.

With the variety of Golf GPS devices on the market, finding the right one should be relatively easy. With each price level, you are saving money and potentially removing valuable features. Ensure that your GPS device is right for you. Be sure to look out for membership costs, course map fees, and other software-related hiccups.

So you want to blow away your golf buddies with your top-notch golf game. Well you gotta start with two key points for ripping your drives down the fairway

The first element of your golf drive you’ll want to master is distance. The second aspect for enhancing your drive is accuracy.

Here’s seven top tips for driving that golf ball more accurately and farther down the fairway.

Tip one: Let the driver work for you. Golf clubs are designed to help you hit the ball with precision and force. It makes sense to take advantage of that. Yet, most new golfers believe they’ll hit the drive farther by hitting the ball as hard as they can. A key point for experienced and beginning golfers is to not worry about the power of your swing. Focus on hitting the center of the ball with a nice even stroke. This allows the body to perform a more natural swing, which will allow your driver to do its thing.

Tip two: Visualize the swing. Gain confidence in executing the shot by visualizing the ball heading straight as an arrow down the course as you make a couple of practice swings. Concentrate on feeling a nice smooth, steady swing. Play the shot over in your head first You’ll gain confidence before actually striking the ball.

Tip three: Shorten your backswing. You should get better results from shortening your backswing, than going for the big hit. A good rule of measure is about a three-quarter length backswing; turning your body and bending your wrists naturally. Taking your backswing too far back actually gives you less control, which ends up with more missed shots.

Tip four: Keep your swing foot on the ground. Many golfers haven’t been taught the correct positioning of their anchor foot. For right-handed golfers, your anchor foot is your right foot, and for left-handed golfers, your left foot acts as your anchor foot. When driving the ball, you want to be sure to not lift that foot too early during your golf swing. By holding this key foot down through more of the swing, you’ll achieve increased thrust. The next time you watch a pro like Tiger Woods hit the ball, notice how long he keeps his anchor foot on the ground.

Tip five: Don’t forget about your arms. A lot of times, most of the emphasis is placed on your feet position, or trunk stability. We forget about the role the arms play in your swing. To improve consistency in your drive, try this tip. Swing the club as you normally would by going into your backswing, and then following through with the forward swing. Don’t stop there though. Go into your backswing, and forward again with the club. Repeat this back-and-forth motion five to 10 times and then take a rest. Practicing this exercise will consistently increase your accuracy.

Tip six: Practice swing with a t-shirt around the club head. This is a special technique taught by numerous golf instructors. Hanging a shirt on your club helps you slow down your swing. Swinging the driver too fast is probably the number one cause for slicing or hooking the ball. Swing as you normally would with a natural fluid motion. Combine this with Tip number one, and you should notice a difference in the distance you hit after only a few weeks.

Tip seven: Lower your swing gradually. Trying to hit the golf ball the same way you swing a baseball bat won’t work, but gradually lowering your swing will help increase distance. Take your driver and start by practicing some slow baseball type swings. The swing of the club should be just above the waist as if you were hitting a baseball. Keep increasing the swing, faster and faster until you feel as if you could hit a ball into the grandstands. Then slowly lower the height of that swing until the head of the club is just touching the ground. Practice this technique, and you’ll be sure see improvement quickly.

And remember the most important thing about these golf driving tips. None of them will work if you don’t practice, and then practice some more. Golfing is relaxing and helps keep you healthy. Have fun impressing your golf buddies as you whack that ball farther and more accurately on your next trip to the links.

A hidden fear usually works at the back of the mind of those who introduce a new idea or product in the market “what if this idea is stolen by someone?” Even in case of golf ideas and products, claiming somebody else’s idea as own is not a new issue. Therefore, before selling any golf product or idea it is important to protect your invention.

Listed below are five ways to protect your golf idea:

1. The Inventor’s Notebook – When a new product idea comes to mind, the next question that arises is how to protect that idea from thieves and plagiarists. Keeping an inventor’s notebook is a good solution as it helps to organize all ideas and information about the invention. In fact, if a dispute arises in the future, this notebook can give legal protection to a product inventor. A notebook having bound pages, not the loose-leaf binders, should be used for this purpose. Electronic recording devices are not advisable for using as an inventor’s notebook as they are not considered reliable evidence since they can be easily manipulated.

2. Trademarks – A golf concept or idea can be protected from idea stealers by registering it for a trademark. This applies to golf products and ideas that may or may not have a patent. Trademarks have a certain limit in the protection of an idea. They can’t stop someone from manufacturing the same products under a different name or mark, they only protect the mark under which a product is sold. Golf industry advisors suggest that golf product inventors, manufacturers or sellers should register their trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO). Using the superscript “TM” after a product name or logo gives a limited trademark protection to the name or the logo.

3. Legal Documentation of Intellectual Property – All entrepreneurs, whether in golf or any other field, thoroughly realize the value of an original product idea, logo, brand name, etc. Legally documenting intellectual property helps inventors to protect their ideas and inventions from being misused by unscrupulous people or to be claimed as their own for their personal benefits. This can be done by filling out a copyright application and is discussed later. The inventor or the creator of a product can also legally document the intellectual property by sending the document to themselves through registered mail; but don’t open it.

4. Patent – Inventors of products and concepts ‘may’ want to consider a patent to protect them when prior to licensing or selling their concepts or golf prototype. According to the Doctrine of Equivalents, patent protection is not limited to the literal elements asserted by a patent. Reasonable equivalents of the listed elements also come under patent protection.

5. Copyright – Copyright laws protect a product name or a copy used for selling a product from being duplicated by competitors or any other person or company for personal profit. The other way round, while marketing or licensing a golf idea or product, make a thorough research about the market so as to avoid intentional or unintentional copying of product name, content, etc. Inexpensive copyright services are available online and can ensure it is done right.

In some cases where an entrepreneur needs to protect the trade secrets, simple Non Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) can help in protection against copying of ideas or products. Locate a group of golf industry professionals to help golf product inventors and entrepreneurs with the protection of golf ideas and products – since both you and they will want to ensure the idea is sound, solid and protected before moving ahead with the launching of a new golf product.

Chipping is a tough part of the game because no two chips are alike. You can practice driving off the range and recreate the exact same setup on the tee. You can practice putting on the practice green and find a similar surface at the end of each hole. But when you get out a wedge that means that something different is going on and you have to learn to deal with it. A well hit chip shot is a very satisfying feeling as it seems almost effortless as the steeply angled club face slides under the ball and the ball soars upward going as high as it goes far.

Chipping is important because where you leave the ball can make a big difference in a one putt for par or a three putt for a double bogey. Think of it as the assist before the score, a setup that is every bit as important as the final shot. I mention this because some people view the only goal of chipping as just getting on the green. In reality, there are a lot of spots on the green that are worse then where you started. So improving your chipping involves working on the stroke itself and also learning to think about precision in placement, especially from short chips.

Wedges are short clubs and that should tell you that you do not want to be swinging hard. You have a whole bag full of clubs so pick the one that will go the distance without you having to swing too hard and mess up you consistency. If you have practiced with all of your clubs, then you should know about how far you will hit with each one. I always recommend using more club than you need and swinging easy or even shortening your backswing to lower the power output. For example, from thirty yards out I will swing a nine iron at about three quarter power with a shortened back swing instead of trying to hit a pitching wedge full strength. By swinging slower and easier you have much more control.

Any closer and I am going for a pitching wedge or even a sand wedge. Often the grass right around the green is allowed to grow up into a pretty sizeable rough and I find that the weighty bottom of the sand wedge is very effective at cutting through it and getting to the ball. If you are really close, trying choking way up on the wedge and swinging with your wrists. This small snapping swing will give you a short punchy shot that will make the green but not roll too far.

And remember if you are really, really close, you may not want to use a wedge at all for your chipping. Often a two iron is a great choice for the shortest of chips. Use it almost like a putter and you will get a short low loft shot that is easy to control. Often this is far easier to manage then putting the ball up in the air. So trying different clubs and practicing is how to improve your chipping technique.

Diehard golf fans are a breed all their own. Many travel hundreds of miles and spend thousands of dollars to play in new, exciting locales. Others pay outrageous membership fees every year just to have a place to practice their swing. However, any avid golfer can create a private golf sanctuary right in his or her own back yard. All you need is some space, a few resources, creativity, and the correct landscaping techniques. Below, you’ll find ideas and useful tips that can help turn your plain old yard into the envy of every golfer on the block.

The first step in creating a backyard golf course is to understand your yard’s terrain. Figure out the size, shape, natural elevations, and the amount of sun and rain in the area you wish to turn into a backyard course. Check your city’s zoning laws to make sure your landscaping ideas won’t be in violation of any code. This may seem like a lot to consider, but doing so will only make your project that much easier to complete

Next, decide which aspects of a traditional course will fit on your property. Chances are, you won’t be able to fit eighteen holes. However, if you do have a few spare acres, you can easily create a one- or two-hole course. Choose the course features for your course. These may include: a tee-off area, a chipping area, a sand or a small water trap, a rough, and a putting green.

If your budget and space is limited, just include your favorite aspects of golf. Are you a fan of teeing off? If so, why not add a driving range to your property? Relatively simple to design and construct, driving ranges won’t disturb the neighbors too much, assuming you have enough space and the proper safety netting. Or perhaps you need a space to practice chipping? Chipping areas are another fairly small, easily landscaped choice. Design your chipping area with plenty of rough grass, mounds, or water or sand traps. Chipping areas don’t need to be immaculately manicured, either. Letting the area get a little overgrown will probably help your game even more.

Putting greens do require a bit more planning than other features, but they can be designed to fit nearly any space. Make sure your putting area is flat. Design and install a drainage system, and dedicate time to properly cultivating the turf. A grass green is a fairly long-term project, so if you are looking for more immediate results, opt for artificial turf. Artificial grass is quick to install and requires a lot less maintenance.

If you are restricted by size but still want a full course, try designing a mini-golf course. Mini courses can be a lot of fun, but they also a lot of work, especially if you want each hole to be different and challenging. Hiring a professional designer is probably your best bet when building a mini-golf course; however, that doesn’t mean you can’t be in on the design process.

Yes, golf fanatics around the world have started to build their own courses, holes or practice areas. And if you have the means and have done the research, there is no reason why you can’t have your own personal course as well.

Invention and improvement in the sport of golf is not a new trend. But what has become increasingly important is the fact that since golf inventions have become more and more frequent, it is important to market your invention or idea to correctly to ensure its success. The real difference that causes a brilliant idea to fail while a mediocre invention grabs the limelight is how the respective inventor sells the idea or invention to the consumer group. The key to selling an invention or idea successfully is to work your way through the web of challenging levels such as development, distribution, marketing and customer service processes in order to increase your product’s acceptance rate among the target group to the peak. There are hundreds of online portals and invention marketers present in the professional arena of golf today. But very few can be as cost-effective, innovative and efficient as you yourself, albeit with perhaps a lot of professional guidance.

Golf inventions, such as the all-new ‘error-free golf ball’ or the handy ‘golf ball launcher’ that threatens to redefine the game of golf, are invalid and financially incapacitated until and unless they have a great marketing strategy to back them up. No invention, be it a popular one or a small yet important one, can make it as a financially profitable product without proper evaluation and professional selling techniques. Successful golf inventions also require the optimum advantage that new media can give them, including exposure, acceptability and allaying budget concerns. A lot of golf inventors can end up on the losing side with brilliant inventions in their bag, as most are preoccupied with the fact that the ‘idea’ is everything and do not even bother to market it to the target consumer group or rush off to patent it and run out of funds. Here are a few ideas on how you can actually make your invention count – financially as well as in terms of popularity and usability thus ensuring it’s success.

Blow Your Own Trumpet
No one knows your invention and its potential to help progress the game of golf more than you do. Therefore, no one can actually present your invention to a buyer or licensing group, highlighting exactly the points you think make your invention superior as well as you can. Evaluate your product with a prototype and thereafter try and partner with a licensing or buying group inside the golf industry. Once the idea is tried, tested and accepted, they can launch the invention full-scale.

Try an Intermediary
As an inventor in the golfing industry, you have to accept the fact that the best way to have your invention marketed is most likely through an intermediary. Many useful and notable inventions have bitten the dust because of the unwillingness of the inventor to share the idea with corporate invention-promotion companies. Even though all of these are not trustworthy, authentic groups like Fairways International, based in Palm Desert, CA do help inventors in propagating their invention a great deal. There is fair share that inventors get as royalties, etc., but they also need to accept that the financial profits are to be shared among many. These include professional licensing companies, potential investors, manufacturers and distribution agencies and sales reps. Usually this process is the most sure-fire way to sell your invention and attain high-level profits.

Use the New Media
Today’s golf inventors have the media on their side, especially the audio-visual media and the Internet. Television can be a great platform for golf inventors to showcase their brainwaves, with channels such as the Golf Channel reserved exclusively for the golf industry and other shows that help golf innovators find exposure and sponsors through the same platform. Internet channels such as YouTube can be a great way to market your invention and increase its popularity and acceptability among the huge potential of online consumers. But be very wary, there are many knock off artists that will take, produce and sell the invention to the same market, so be sure that you create a sound business development plan and then execute it swiftly to gain market share – the quickest to grasp market share typically wins in the long run.

As a profession, a golf inventor has a hard life. But with some enterprise and practical implementation of well-planned strategies, breaking ground in the professional golfing arena is not very difficult. After all, inventing a golf accessory is not as difficult as making it sell to a worldwide market place.

In this article we will be looking at things you can look for once the date starts to judge how well things are going. Obviously don’t have these things written down in a notebook to consult during the soup course, but just keep them in the back of your mind as the date progresses.

Unless, of course, this is a blind date, you will already have had some interactions prior to the date itself and there must be at least some initial connection between you to get you to this point. However once the date is under way you will both be testing that initial connection to see if it is a reality. There will be lots of clues in your partner’s behavior that will suggest how things are going for them. In the early stages of the date you need to be careful not to jump to the conclusion that something is not right because it could all be down to the nerves of either or both of you. There are a few things you can do to measure this so you don’t make any hasty decisions.

Ask yourself honestly if you are relaxed or not. If you are all tense and anxious, your date will almost certainly be picking up on this even at a sub-conscious level. It will also likely be preventing your true personality to come through and the difficulty with this is that you will be aware of this and will likely get tenser. If you are not feeling relaxed then make a quick escape to the bathroom and breathe deeply for a few minutes. You can then return and be more objective about whether your tension was due to nerves or the fact that you really don’t want to be on this date. This is also true of your date. If you sense they are tense then try to make them at ease, show an interest in them and start a new conversation. Do this until you sense them relaxing or until they themselves take a time out in the bathroom.

Another thing that can inadvertently cause one of you to seize up is a throw away remark that causes offense that the other party never really recovers from. Such a remark may be made because one of you is just very nervous but it has the effect of throwing the date into a irrecoverable tail spin. If this happens at the start of the date, give them the benefit of the doubt and put it down to nerves. It is all too easy to write off the whole evening from a single careless comment like this so just let it wash over you and see how things progress a little before pulling the plug.

The key to all this is to not let things that are actually pretty trivial cause you to write off the date before you have properly got to know the other person. In the initial stages, this could well be down to nerves and you should be prepared for this and make allowances. There will plenty of opportunities later on in the date for you to determine if the person sitting across from you is worth giving further consideration to.

To improve your golf game you will need to focus on the fundamentals. This article will give you give some advice on posture and foot setup, golf alignment and golf fitness. If you are new to golf or you have been playing for years; having the fundaments mastered will equate to a better golf game.

Golf Swing Posture and Setup Position

When you have proper posture and foot placement you can maintain your balance throughout the swing. If you are new the great game of golf, having proper golf posture at first might not feel natural. Before you know it having good golf posture will second natural. Good golf posture means that your back is straight and your legs are bent.

Along with proper posture comes foot set up. The foot set up is different with every club. When you are using a “wood” you should be playing off your front foot. This means that your club is aligned over your front foot. So, if you are left-handed your front foot is your right foot. If you are right-handed your front foot is your left foot. The pitching wedge should be played off your back foot. And, all the other clubs fall somewhere in between.

Golf Alignment

If you have swing flaws, check your alignment. Of course not every swing is going to be perfect. Many inexperienced golfers mis-align their target before hitting the ball. The way to fix mis-alignment is to square up your stance. Here is the fix.

1.	First find a target in the distance that you want to hit with the ball. Then take out 2 golf clubs that your rarely use.
2. Take the 1st club and lay it directly at the target. Take a couple of steps back to see that it is properly placed.
3.	Place a second club parallel to the first club on the ground
4.	Then remove the 1st club. At this point you will have one club that is parallel to left of target.

The club that is parallel on the ground is your guide to help you align your feet, knees, hips and shoulders squarely. At this point if you hit the ball to the left of the target you are pulling the ball. This means you are hitting the ball to hard with only your arms. If your hit the ball to the right of the target, you are sliding your body too much laterally through impact.

If you are mis-aligned don’t worry. Now you know how to fix your golf swing.

Golf Fitness

To have “golf fitness” you don’t have to spend hours at the gym working out. Muscle strength and flexibility with help with your golf swing. It is good to get into some type of fitness regiment. Concentrate on muscles that control the spine angle, your center of gravity and balance. Once these muscles are exercised regularly you will see an improvement in your golf swing. Proper exercise and stretching routines will ultimately improve your game.

Remember golf is a game that you can play for many years. It’s a sport of all ages. Until next time, Tracy L.
